MAMASA ARABICA

SMALL SCALE & GOOD FLAVOUR FROM SULAWESI

Background Info

The tribal Mamasa district is one of the three main arabica producing areas of Sulawesi. The area is located west of Tanah Toraja and produces somewhat smaller quantities than the Kalossi and Toraja regions.

The coffee has the characteristic profile of a wet-hulled coffee, traditionally associated with Sumatra and Sulawesi. Crisp, earthy chocolate dominates aroma and flavour, complicated by tart passion fruit and hints of vanilla and musk. Rounded, gently vibrant acidity.
